C.H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, No. 4805, circa 1900. Very fine 18 ct. pink gold, keyless minute repeating watch with split seconds chronograph.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, a dedication engraved inside the back. Gold cuvette. D. Three piece white enamel with radial Arabic numerals, outer red Arabic minute and chronograph ring, and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18"', nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 33 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Minute repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, button on the winding crown and split seconds push piece in the band. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
