Just & Son, Genève, made for the Chinese market circa 1830. Very fine and rare 18 ct. gold and enamel, centre seconds clock-watch with special escapement.

Double body, "consular", entirely chased with blue, red, yellow and green translucent champleve enamelled decoration in a "rocaille" pattern, the back enamelled with a very finely painted bunch of flowers over a pink ground. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Gold " spade" hands. M. GiIt brass full plate, double train with cylindrical pillars, going barrels, single wheel duplex escapement, cut bimetallic balance, flat balance spring. Striking on gongs with boit on the bezel. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
