J. W. Rosenthal, Bombay, No.2391, Swiss, made for the Indian market, circa 1900. Magnificent, 18 ct. gold, enamel and diamond-set hunting-cased, keyless moon-phase astronomical minute-repeating grande and petite sonnerie clockwatch with perpetual calendar.

Four body, massive, "bassine et filet", bezels and band of green translucent enamel with leaf decoration, the cover with a rosette of inlaid old cut diamonds on a green translucent enamel ground, the back with a champlevé enamel steeplechase within diamond border. Gold cuvette, engine-turned and engraved with elaborated specifications. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary dials for week days, months with leapyear cycle, date and seconds with inner moon-phase aperture and calendar. M. Glazed, 21? nickel plated, bar caliber, "fausses côtes" decoration, twin barrels with differential winding, 34 jewels, partly in gold screwed settings, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Striking and repeating on gongs with boit in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 60 mm.
