Maurice Ditisheim, Chaux-de-Fonds, No. 10637, Swiss, made for the Chinese market, circa 1890. Enamel painted by P. Amédée Champod. Rare 18 ct. gold and enamel, pearl-set hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch.

Five body, massive, "bassine et filets", the band with engraved and red champleve enamelled decoration, split pearl set bezels, the cover panel enamelled with a painted Romantic scene in a garden, the back with the portrait of a lady over an ivory opalescent ground. Glazed gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 17? gilt brass, 30 jewels partly in screwed settings, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with micrometric index. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. In very good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
