Not signed, probably made by Ernest Guinand, in Locle, Swiss, circa 1875. Extremely fine 18 ct. gold, hunting-cased keyless pocket chronometer with one minute tourbillon regulator.

C. Four body massive "bassine et filets", entirely engraved in high relief with formai foliage patterns, the cover with monogram "M.B.". Glazed gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued-steel "spade" hands. M. 20? glazed nickel plated with "fausses côtes" decoration, 15 jewels, pivoted detent escapement with gold s'cape wheel, two armed cut bimetallic balance with gold poising screws, blued steel balance spring with terminal curve and arc limiting pin. Ernest first type polished steel tourbillon carriage, driven by the minute wheel. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
