Notes

This watch embodies most of the features of typical Arnold pocket chronometers. The dial with Breguet numerals is unusual for an English watch and allows to think that Hare used to work for Arnold whose relationship with Breguet is well known. It is important to point out that the Consular cases are very similar to that, "à double fond" as they were called by Louis Berthoud, used in France by early chronometer makers.
