C. Three body, "bassine et filets", with diamond inlaid blue champleve enamelled decoration (slightly restored), the revolving back with hinged bezel. D. Gold engine-turned with Roman numerals, the centre engraved with a floral decoration. Blued steel " spade" hands. M. 15"', frosted and giIt, three quarter plate, 12 jewels, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, balance spring with terminal curve. The movement is wound by means of the revolving back, hand setting by means of a knurled wheel on border of the bezel when the button on the pendant is depressed. In good condition. Diam. 40 mm.

Notes

A fixed pinion, screwed inside the revolving back meshes with a steel wheel set on the barrel's arbor. The hand set device is drawn from that used on most centre seconds watches with Pouzait lever escapement and extra large second beating balance.
