C. Double body, Louis XVI, the back chased with a pastoral scene depicting children playing with a donkey and a goat, outer floral and rocaille decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring (slightly chipped on the border of the winding hole). Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three arm-balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass Louis XVI continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 44 mm.
