Double body Louis XVI, the bezel of gun-metal inlaid and applied with chased gold formai decoration, the back of gun-metal as well, inlaid with a chased gold scene of Chinese inspiration, the border decoration matching that of the bezel. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Rose-diamond set Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three arm-balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass Louis XVI continental cock with blued steel endpiece. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 45 mm.
