Schérer à Genève, circa 1815. Fine and unusual, silver giit, double face, two-time zone centre seconds watch with 1/4 second " diablotine" and special escapement.
C. Double body, Empire, polished, glazed on both faces. D. Silver engine-turned on the front face with centre seconds, small eccentric Roman chapter ring and symetrical subsidiary 1/4 second "foudroyante". Blued steel Breguet hands. White enamel on the rear face with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and small sector for the regulator index. GiIt brass Breguet hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, virgule escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with flat balance spring. Signed on the dial. In good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
