Double body, Directoire, with concealed hinges, split-pearl set bezels and pendant, the back of blue translucent enamel over engine-turning, with a finely painted pastoral scene within a paillonne frame. Hinged glazed gilt brass cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals (slightly restored). Gold arrow hands.M. GiIt brass, flat Gregson type calibre with the going barrel passing through the back plate, secured by a fine applied gilt brass circular plate pierced and engraved with foliage. Cylinder escapement, plain steel five-arm balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the back plate. In good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
