Notes

The case (originally a pair-case) and the movement of this watch, with the double wheel duplex escapement are typical of Urban Jurgensen work and appear to have been made in the late XVlllth century by Urban Jurgensen. They probably remained unfinished in the workshop. The dial and the engraving of the signature were certainly made much later by Urban's son, at the request of a customer.
