Jules Jurgensen, Copenhagen No. 14765, Swiss, circa 1880. Very fine 18 ct. pink gold minute-repeating keyless centre seconds watch.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, Gold cuvette, engine-turned on the border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute and seconds rings. Gold "spade" hands. M. 18-, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 32 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Special hand-setting by the folding bow, patented by Jules Jurgensen, 15 January, 1867. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
