Not signed, Swiss, made for the Spanish or the South American market, circa 1880. Fine 18 ct. pink gold, double face, moon phase astronomical, keyless calendar watch.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets grandes gouges", engraved with Sphinx, flowers and foliage, the cover with a small monogram "F.N." in an escutcheon. D. Silver on the front, decorated with engraved palmets and applied gold cast floral decoration, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, subsidiary seconds and center moon phase aperture. blued steel "spade" hands. White enamel chapter ring on the back on the back for the days of the week and dates. Gold hands. M. 18-, nickel plated, "à vagues" decoration, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
