Paul Buhre No. 4098, Swiss, made for the Russian market, circa 1895. Very fine 18 ct. gold, hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned, the cover decorated with the black champleve double headed eagle, emblem of the Russian Imperial family. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. 19-, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed in Russian on the cuvette. In good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
