Cook & Kelben, Calcutta, Swiss, made for the Indian market, circa 1890. Fine and unusual 18 ct. gold, hunting cased, diamond-set keyless quarters and five minute repeating watch.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", entirely chased with foliage in a diamond inlaid rosette pattern. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "fleurs de lys" hands. M. 18-, frosted and gilt, three quarter plate, 29 jewels, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating hours, quarters and five minutes with slide in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
