American Watch Co., Waltham, Mass. No. 2531567, circa 1890. Fine 14 ct. gold hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch patented on August 23rd, 1887.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned, the monogram "P.B.R." engraved in an escutcheon on the cover. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer red Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19-, three quarter plate, nickel plated, spotted finished, 26 jewels in screwed settings, straight line lever escapement, adjusted cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
