C. Double body rose wood box with inset brass handles and brass borders (the upper glazed section with hinged lid, now replaced by a mahogany panel). Brass circular gimbal and bowl. D. Silvered with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale. Gilt brass "spade" hands. M. Brass full plate with conical balance, spotted finished, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, two-arm compensation balance with cylindrical poising weights and timing screws, free sprung palladium helical balance spring with terminal curves, diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dial diam. 100 mm.
