C. Three body mahogany deck-watch type box. Brass bowl with screwed bezel. D. Frosted and silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale. GiIt brass "spade" hands. M. Frosted and gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, the barrel passing through the back plate, and secured by a bridge, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, Guillaume integral compensation balance, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves, diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Dial diam. 70 mm.
