"J*D", No. 851, circa 1890. Fine and rare "mignonette" eight day going carriage clock with "pietra-dura" panels.

GiIt brass, "gorge" glazed on three faces, the side panels of "pietra-dura" marquettery over a black ground, lily of the valley with a butterfly on the right, forget-me-not and a butterfly on the left. D. Mat gilt brass with Roman numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. Mat gilt brass dial-plate. M. Brass, rectangular with going barrel, platform escapement with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued-steel flat balance spring. Trade mark punched on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 7,7 x 5,4 x 4,8 cm.
