Not signed, Swiss, probabily "Lamy & Lacroix" circa 1840. Fine and rare, large early, eight day going "grande et petite sonnerie" quarter repeating carriage clock with alarm.
C. Gilt brass "one-piece", plane, glazed on five faces. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and optional "grande/petite sonnerie - silence" selection. Blued steel Breguet hands with skeletonised tips. M. Brass, rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring. Striking and repeating on two bells with striking work visible on the back plate and button on the top. Pull-wind alarm on a bell. In very good condition. Dim. 17 x 12,5 x 9,5 cm.
