Henri Jacot, Paris, No. 7626, circa 1890. Fine glazed gilt brass, "grande sonnerie", quarter repeating carriage clock.

C. Gilt brass, "Anglaise", glazed on five faces, the dial plate and lateral panels applied with enamelled pierced and engraved scrolls, foliage and birds. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Blued steel "pear" hands. M. Brass, rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, bluedsteel flat balance spring. Striking and repeating on gongs with button on the top and grande sonnerie/petite sonnerie/silent optional lever in the base. In very good condition. Dim. 14 x 9,5 x 8,5 cm. excluding the handle.
