C. H. Meylan, Brassus, Swiss, made for the American market, circa 1900. Fine 18 ct. pink gold, keyless minute repeating watch with split seconds chronograph.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished. Gold cuvette. D. Three piece white enamel with Breguet numerals, outer red Arabic minute and chronograph ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18"', nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, the button on the winding crown, split seconds push piece in the band. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 49 mm.
