Bigelow Kennard & Co. Boston, Mass. No. 5114, Swiss, circa 1898. Very fine 18 ct. gold minute repeating, keyless moon phase astronomical triple complication watch with perpetual calendar, split second chronograph and 60 minute instantaneous recorder.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets" polished. Gold cuvette with an engraved dedication dated November 24, 1898. D. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals, outer red Arabic minute and chronograph ring, subsidiary dials for week days, months with leap-year cycle and outer minute register, date and seconds with inner moon phase aperture with calendar. Blued-steel "spade" hands. M. 19-, nickel plateded, "fausses côtes" decoration 33 jewels, counterpoised adjustable straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan-neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band, chronograph with visible work, push-button on the crown and boit in the band, split seconds with push-piece in the band. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
