P. Orr & Sons, Madras, No. 696, made for the Indian market, with London hallmarks for 1885. Very fine 18 ct. pink gold hunting cased, keyless minute repeating watch with jumping digital hours and minutes.
C. Four body, "bassine et filets", engine-turned. Gold cuvette. D. Gilt silver with apertures for hours and minutes, subsidiary second, engraved with a foliage decoration and applied with a cast silver floral ornamentation over a matted ground. M. 17-, frosted and gilt, three quarter plate, 24 jewels, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, balance spring with terminal curve. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
