C. Later specially made, three body, "bassine et filets", with fixed cuvette, engine turned with a blank escutcheon on the back and London hallmarks for 1854. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with column pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Arnold spring detent escapement sunk in the back plate, later two-arm compensated balance contemporary of the case, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring and diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
