Nolly, Swiss, circa 1790. Very fine 18 ct. gold and enamel pearl-set watch in a glazed gilt brass protective case.

Double body, Directoire, with split-pearl set bezels, the enamel back panel with a very fine neoclassical painted scene, depicting a young couple and their servant paying respect to the rose-diamond-set altar of Love. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals. Gold pierced "pear" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. In very good condition. Diam. 61 mm. including the glazed protecting case.
