H. R. Ekegren, Genève, circa 1886. Fine 18 ct. pink gold, keyless quarter repeating watch with chronograph.
C. Four body, massive, "pomme et filets", polished, a dedication dated 1886 inside the back. Gold cuvette engine-turned on the border. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 19"', nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 26 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, the button on the winding crown with boit in the band. Signed on the dial and case. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
