Ancienne Mson. Le Roy & Fils, L. Leroy & Cie, Successeurs, Horlogers de la Marine, 13 - 15, Galerie Montpensier, Palais Royal, Paris, No. 57464, circa 1890. Very fine 18 ct. pink gold and enamel hunting cased, keyless quarter repeating watch with chronograph.

C. Four body, "bassine et filets", polished. The cover with the painted champleve enamelled coat of arm of the city ofPoissy, the back with a owl perched on a croissant of moon, with the motto: "La nuit porte conseil". Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "spade" hands. M. 19-, gilt brass, 31 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, the push piece in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
