C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned, the cover with "Father of Time" engraved on a medaillon en reserve, the back engraved with a dog. Gold fixed cuvette. D. White enamel wit Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Hinged frosted and gilt, full plate with column pillars secured by screws, fusee with chain and maintaining power, 13 jewels, Earnshaw spring detent escapement, two-arm compensated balance, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring. Gilt brass dust-rim. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 57 mm.
