C. Five body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished. Gold cuvette with a concealed automaton scene depicting a painted automaton gentleman hunting a very peculiar game in a country side landscape. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 18-, patented rhodium plated, three quarter plate, "à vagues" decoration, 24 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. The automaton is driven by the repeating train by means of a small cam revolving on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
