Anonymous, Swiss, made for the Chinese market circa 1820. Fine and unusual silver, quarter repeating watch.

C. Three body, Empire, polished with reeded band. GiIt brass cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals ( slightly restored). Blued steel Breguet hands. M. GiIt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, plain gilt brass three arm balance, flat balance spring, the back plate in fully engraved "en taille douce" with scrolls and flowers against amati ground. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. In good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
