Two-part, the ribbed back decorated with panels of alternate scarlet guilloche enamel and engraved musical trophies against a blue ground within white borders, the sound board of red guilloche enamel with white sound hole, black enamelled finger board and blue head with gold keys, chain suspension (small repairs, extremely well done). D. White enamel, Roman hour chapters, winding aperture and 2 o'clock. Blued-steel hands. M. GiIt full plate, fuse with chain, verge escapement with plain 3-arm brass balance and flat spring with regulator. Continental cock, pierced false pendulum aperture. Signed on the movement. Dims. 63 x 33mm.
