L. Côte à Mâcon, circa 1882. Fine 18 ct. pink gold, keyless pocket chronometer, awarded the second prize at the Observatoire de Neuchâtel, 1882 timing contest.
C. Four body, massive, "pomme et gouge" polished. Gold cuvette engraved with the awarded prize. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV" hands. M. 19-, nickel plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, gold wheel train, 20 jewels in screwed gold settings, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
