West End Watch Co., 4129, Swiss, circa 1910. Very fine and rare 18 ct gold, enamel and gem set hunter-cased keyless chiming and minute-repeating clock watch for the Indian market.

C. Four body, band decorated with blue champleve enamel, the cover with elaborate rosette in rose diamonds, cabochon emeralds and rubies on a blue guilloche ground within scarlet and diamond set border, the back with similar decoration, the centre enamelled in polychrome and opalescent colours with a tiger hunt, hinged gold cuvette partly silvered to reflect the stones. D. Engine-turned silver with gilt chapter ring, blue enamelled Roman hour numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock. Blued-steel hands. M. 18.5- nickefinished half plate caliber with fausse-cotes decoration, 31 jewels, two going barrels, straight line lever escapement with bi-metallic compensation balance, overcoil spring with regulator, quarter-striking and minute-repeating on three gongs with chime/silent lever in the bezel, repeating setoff in the band. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Diam.50mm.
