By Ferrero, four body, the covers with foliage engraved borders, (very small and well repaired chip),dial side with elaborate floral rosette motif set in old cut diamonds on scarlet guilloche ground within green enamel scroll border, the back with similar and slightly smaller floral rosette centred with a large old cut diamond. Hinged glazed cuvette. D. Frosted and silvered 18 ct gold with red enamelled Roman hour numerals, black Arabic 5 minute numerals, outer ring for 1/5th seconds chronograph, subsidiary 'foudroyante' countersunk dial at 6 o'clock with countersunk 30 minute recording at 12. Blued-steel spade and moon counterpoised split seconds hands. M. Frosted and gilt three quarter plate, 32 jewels, two going barrels with tandem winding, straight line lever escapement, two arm compensation balance, overcoil spring with regulator, independant flying 'foudroyante' seconds, highly polished and partially grained split chronograph mechanism visible on the back plate, minute-repeating on two gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 57mm.
