Notes

Although made after his death, this chronometer is identical to those produced by Louis Berthoud as soon as 1800. Previously in the L. Leroy collection, this chronometer is very similar to No. 215, described and illustrated by J.C. Sabrier : The Longitude at sen in the tiene of Louis Berthoud and f l e u r i Motel. Antiquorum Editions 1993, pp. 307-309.
