Henri Motel, No. 3, circa 1850. Fine ebony veneered month going mantle regulator with differential equation of time and four year calendar for day and week day.

Ebony veneered, four glass with rectangular moulded base, square section columns and flat top with moulded frieze, all inlaid with brass stringing, access to movement by raising the back and front glasses. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and recessed centre (hair line) with visible escapement. Blued-steel Breguet hands. Subsidiary dial below showing the solar time with hours and minutes and symmetrical dial for days of the week and date. M. Brass circular with going barrel, Brocot dead beat escapement, halfseconds gridiron pendulum with spring suspension. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dim. 65 x 35 x 25 mm.
