Notes

Not recorded in A. Chapiro, Jean-Antoine Lepine, Horloger (1720-1814) - Editions de l'amateur, this watch is fitted with the escapement devised by Robert Robin in 1791 (see lot No. 113) and appears to be unique in the work of Lepine. The movement with fusee and free-standing barrel is drawn from the original Lepine calibre.
