L. Leroy & Cie.,13-15 Palais Royal, Paris, No. 14910, circa 1890. Fine and rare gilt bronze, quarter-repeating moon phase astronomical centre-seconds "grande and petite sonnerie", carriage clock with alarm and double calendar.

C. Gilt bronze, glazed, "Anglaise Riche" with Corinthian colmns, chased overall with scrolled foliage. D. White enamel chapter ring with radial Arabic numerals, inner moon phase aperture, subsidiary dials for alarm setting, days of the week and dates. Blued-steel "spade" hands. Gilt brass dial-plate engraved with flowers and foliage. M. Brass, eight-day with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring. Striking repeating and alarm on gongs with button on the top, grande and petite sonnerie/silent, optional lever in the base. In very good condition. Dim. 15,5 x 10,5 x 9,5 cm., excluding the handle.
