Notes

Clocks made of steel are extremely rare. This is a good example in the "troubadour" style, nuich in favour towards the middle of the XIXth. century. According to the decoration, this clock was specially made for the coronation of Henri V, King of France, previously Duke of Bordeaux and later Count of Chambord.
