Duchemin à Paris, No. 332, circa 1830. Fine and rare 18 ct. gold, quarter-repeating watch with special escapement, constructed on the principals of the "garde-temps".

C. Four body, "forme quatre baguettes", engineturned. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. bluedsteel Breguet hands. M. 21-, gilt brass with freestanding barrel, 15 jewels, Robin's type detentlever escapement, bimetallic two-arm compensation balance, blued-steel flat balance spring. Repeating on gongs, the pull-twist piston in the pendant. Signed on the dial and the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
