Paul Garnier, Horloger du Roi, Paris, No.29371, made for F. Martin & Co. Successor to Henry Capt, 151 Regent Street, London, circa 1845. Fine gilt bronze, eight-day going, hour and half hour striking carriage clock, in original fitted travelling box.

C. Gilt brass, "Anglaise", glazed on four sides and entirely engraved with scrolls and flowers. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Bluedsteel "Trefle" hands. M. Brass, rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with la teral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued-steel flat balance spring. Striking on gongs. Signed on the dial and platform escapement. In very good condition. Dim. 12 x 9 x 7,5 cm. excluding the handle.
