Drocourt (Pierre and Alfred), Paris, No. 25859, circa 1880. Fine and rare gilt bronze small "petite sonnerie", quarter-repeating carriage clock with .the phase of the moon.

C. Gilt bronze, glazed, "pillars", engraved with scrolled foliage. D. Brown enamel with Breguet numerals and outer painted Cupids. Blued-steel hands. Matt gilt brass dial-plate with moon phase aperture. M. Brass, eight-day with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued-steel flat balance spring. Striking and repeating on gongs with button on the top. Trade mark punched on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 10,5 x 7 x 6 cm., excluding the handle.
