Verger, 1930's.Fine and unusual lacquered silver, 18 ct. gold, and malachite-set Art-Deco handbag buckle incorporating a built-in watch.
C. Silver shaped rectangular buckle, lacquered in black, with gold bezel and shutters opening to disclose the dial by means of a malachite set 'faux' crown at 9 o'clock, oposite the matching winding crown. D. Matt silver with Arabic numerals. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Rhodium plated 8" ' movement, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the movement, Verger Master mark on the case. In very good condition. Dim. 42 x 43 mm.
