Perrin à Lyon, circa 1690. Fine and rare silver Louis XIV "oignon" with central winding, enamelled cock with mock pendulum in the form of a swinging 'mouche'.
C. Double body "oignon, gilt brass overlaid with silver, fully engraved with inhabited foliage( slight distortion to edge), the back centred with a glazed circular aperture. D. Gilt copper with Roman numerals on enamel cartouches, the centre engraved with inhabited foliage. Bluedsteel single hand. M. Gilt brass full plate with Egyptian pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, short flat balance spring, fine cock set with a full size enamel plaque, painted with the portrait of a lady over a black ground in the manner of the Huaud brothers. Signed on the back plate. h1 very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
