Ferdinand Berthoud à Paris, No. 933, with Paris hallmarks for 1777. Very fine and rare 18 ct. two coloured gold dumb quarter-repeating centre-seconds stop-watch.

C. Double body, Louis XVI, the bezel with yellow gold cast entrelac decoration, the engine-turned back centred with the monogram "F.C.". D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute and seconds ring. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. A small lever on the dial-plate to stop the balance. Repeating on the case by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial, back and dialplate. In very good condition. Diam. 44 mm.
