Dent, Watchmaker to the Royal Household, London, Swiss, made for the English market, circa 1890. Fine 18 ct. gold, hunting cased, keyless watch with patented chronograph recorder and tachometer.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished. Gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring, tachometer scale graduated for 15 Miles per hour from 1/4 Mile distances, subsidiary seconds and 30 minute register. Gold " spade" hands. M. 18"', frosted and gilt, three quarter plate, 15 jewels partly in screwed settings, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Chronograph with push piece in the band. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
