Tavannes Watch Co., Swiss, circa 1930. Fine 14 ct. gold and enamel hunting cased keyless "Art-Deco" watch.
C. Four body, "Empire" with reeded band and polished borders, the cover with a very finely painted head of a dog against a blue translucent enamel over engineturning (slightly restored), the back enamelled with a matching blue (slightly restored). Gold cuvette. D. Silver and gilt with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 12-, rhodium plated, " fausses côtes" decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, mono-metallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Signed on the dial, case and movement. In good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
