Double body, Louis XVI, the rose-diamond set bezel with blue enamelled decoration, the back enamelled with a fine painted sea-side landscape with a vessel and a castle, outer garland in a leaf pattern and blue enamel decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and diamond-set half-hour divisions. Rose-diamond set Louis XV hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate, with turned pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock and polished steel end-piece. Repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 39 mm.
